    Hey there! I am such a huge fan! There are so few good history podcasts, you have a combination of good topics, conversational style and a voice that isn’t hesitant! Thank you for what you do.

    One topic that absolutely nobody has covered in any depth is the first and second Chechen wars. They were brutal, nasty, full of action intrigue, and yet most people outside of Eastern Europe know very little about it.

      Hi Jesse,

      Thanks so much! I’m really glad you enjoy the show. I’m not sure that this is the right podcast to tackle the Chechen Wars, just because they’re so recent – it’s hard to cover something that is practically current events the same way that other history is covered. I agree, though, that it’s a subject that’s not as well known as it probably should be. It’s a complex one with major impacts on the world today, and unfortunately it hasn’t had that much exposure globally.
