    Hello Adam,

i hope this is the right way to suggest corrections. At around 1:58:00 you state that the French Fourth Republic is the Vichy Regime, but the nazi controlled regime is not counted as a republic in french history. The Fourth Republic existed between 1946 and 1958 after world war 2 and was then finally suceeded by the modern day Fifth Republic.

Unfortunatly i dont know any english history books about France to list at a source but it should be possible to look up.

    Greetings from Germany

      Hi Christoph,

Here works just fine for corrections! Thanks for letting me know – that’s a sloppy oversight on my part. I wasn’t familiar with the Algerian crisis and made some assumptions, and now here we are. I’ll be sure to add it to the corrections page. Thank you once again!

    Hey Adam,

Started out from the Dreyfus episode, and though I’ve listened to a lot of the others since then, this is still my favorite.
Learned about the Dreyfus Affair in school, but never quite understood the dramatics and the cultural undercurrents of the event until listening to the podcast.

Thanks a bunch and lots of appreciation from Israel,
    Amitai

      Hi Amitai,

I had a really similar experience! The whole thing didn’t click for me until years after hearing about it in school. I guess it can be a tricky thing to contextualize, especially since so many aspects of it are left unsaid.

      Glad you’re enjoying the show!
