In this episode we address two ideological fields that were exacerbated by the discovery of evolution: scientific racism, which is an attempt to justify racist stereotypes and power structures through the use of scientific aesthetics and tropes; and eugenics, which attempts to exploit evolutionary principles in order to enhance the human race via direct intervention in reproductive autonomy.
